Facility

Not all buildings are created equal…and if you manage the largest collection of hard records within a 100 mile radius, facility planning is a serious consideration. After a lengthy period of due diligence Archive Logistics purchased a strategic piece of property in 2004 and designed a facility specifically for managing information assets. Extensive security and fire protection measures are employed throughout the facility and remotely monitored 24/7 via redundant communications. While we purposely do not publish an exhaustive list of our employed security features we welcome all clients to schedule a site visit to ‘experience’ our facility firsthand.

Operations

An order picker racking system, with electronic wire guidance, allows us to store records over 20 feet high and achieve a current facility capacity of 150,000 cubic feet of records and capability for over 350,000. We’re able to track the activity of every client record at each point of movement utilizing advanced Commercial Record Center (CRC) software with bar-coding technology. Clients also have real-time access for viewing inventory, placing orders and generating reports via secure web interface with our operations software. Last and certainly not least routing and GPS tracking technology help ensure that efficiency and accountability aren’t compromised even while assets are in route for delivery.
