When evaluating a storage location of your media assets three important considerations are security, fire protection and environmental controls. At Archive Logistics we’ve carefully designed our vault with each of these elements in mind.
Using a multi-layered security approach our vault is located behind three different levels of protection. The structure itself is comprised of eight inch thick concrete block walls with a vault door weighing in at one thousand pounds. Egress is monitored 24/7 with digital video surveillance and secured with electronic access control.
Fire protection starts with our concrete perimeter providing a UL fire resistance design rating of four hours. Inside the vault we have early detection smokes sensors and an FE-25 suppression system to extinguish an unlikely internal fire source. All systems are remotely monitored 24/7/365.
Environmental controls are supported with a dedicated HVAC system and maintained at consistent temperature and humidity levels. The vault environment is also remotely monitored with real-time notification of any deviation in specified climate parameters. A generator backup system provides redundant power during outages.
